i liked the first van helsing but looking back on it, the movie was really cheesy.

I loved the Van Helsing type? movies but the actual one was pretty meh.
Tom Cruise’s movies are solid, so I’m confident the remake is in good hands.
I think that with Tom Cruise producing and starring in the movie, they will fix the disaster of? the first movie. Tom Cruise only does quality stuff. So Im hoping and Im quite sure it’s gonna be good.
I’m all for a new Van Helsing because the first one was one of the worst movies ever made. Stephen Sommers raped the Universal Monsters and made them into a popcorn joke of a movie. There was way too many action scenes and CGI, bad dialogue, not enough? exposition/story or character development, and way too many stupid scenes that were cartoonish and ridiculous. Hopefully, Cruise can be more respectful of the Universal Monsters and make a horror film, not an Indiana Jones ripoff.
Van Helsing was awesome! Can’t wait to see Tom Cruise as Van? Helsing reboot.
