To me, being a retired addict. You are a survivor, If you went hard and heavy, you have literally been tortured, mentally and physically. The stress levels you take emotionally and the physical stress of poisoning your body takes a tremendous toll on you. If you can can stay away from whatever, be sane and functioning and walking away with a few life lessons, you most certainly are a survivor. A survivor from self abuse, staying absent from the real? world and its VERY REAL world scenarios.

If he really believes that Marx was right about the effect of alienation on humanity within capitalism then why does he support only minor reforms rather than the full abolition of the? wages system?

awesome. from the first lecture i listened to I thought if he and ekhart tolle started a treatment centre they could heal the world and I? have never been more sure of it now.

The first 40 minutes listening to him I was wondering how tired he looks. And then he brings it out: Many listen to him like he’s the guru. But this guru is the most honest guru I’ve seen as he explains how he is addicted to being that speaker and? “guru”. That’s when I began to listen to him: He may be able to help people by declaring his own inability to heal himself and his audience. Buddhists might say he is the most humble Buddha – that’s the one you ought to listen to.

Yes it is wery well said and it takes a lot thinking to formulate that conclusion. Its easy to understand it when you have it in front of you, but the work behind is? formulated out of experience. Its a pleasure to see and hear him.

@z3r0Projects? An individual is not “defined” by their actions that’s not to say addiction has an effect on the persons characteristics.

    Beautifully? expressed wisdom!

  11. YaelY7 says:

The person is addicted, not an “addict”. The addiction does not define them, it is just a shitty experience they are going through.? It doe define them, that is what he is saying, we need to stop defining ourselves by the experiences that 1) Caused us to have the impaired cognitive functions that caused us to think in these ways 2) The mistakes and experience we proceeded to have because of the initial damage. We merely need to look past experience, and look at the human on the inside.

  12. z3r0Projects says:

A person is defined by his actions,? so if you’re an addict that’s what you are at that moment. Sometimes you need to be able to say “I’m an asshole!” before you can stop being an asshole…

  13. Wouter Drucker says:

Our lives mainly resolve around making money. We cannot ever hope to realize our potential when almost all of our time is spent extrinsically motivated. First you have to become financially independent. Then you can live your life intrinsically motivated, your journey will begin, and maybe if you are lucky you can reach enlightenment. And even that is not the end stage. After this period of calmness,? the storm will pick you up.

    No I’m not?

  15. Tweet737 says:

An? important semantic detail. There’s no need to be so dismissive in discussing this experience.

  16. zabelicious says:

The problem/crisis/ dilemma is one of fragmentation of the soul. To be whole is to be in tune with the original source: when fear was not? present. Humans created all this chaotic energy with their fears, so the idea is to remove as much fear as possible with awareness, mindfulness and wisdom. And more importantly, to be aware of our true intent since that is the frequency we are putting out there for the world to pick up on.

  17. zabelicious says:

I don’t really believe that you are to “sit” still to get out of your mind. I do it all the time throughout the day as I filter? all the perceptual stimuli I receive from the world. Because I am too sensitive to these, I had to learn to ignore them. I actually do it without any effort if you can believe it. I don’t care what people think and I conduct myself with integrity and compassion. Jiddy Krishnamurti seems to make this sort of thing very clear & agree: Why stop or wait til the day is over?
