Well new to me anyway – and a distinct improvement over the old blue with two yellow stripes

Things have now changed and at least one it is now on the streets, legally.
Well in Vancouver and Oak Bay anway
Ah – lovely shot! A few hours away as the crow flies, a day away due to customs. π
this is really spectacular and I love how you pointed out the areas. My sister lives in vancouver but I don’t know which area..Where you in a plane or is there a mountain you can see this from? Where is the ski hill?

Wow, what a shot!
I always heard Vancouver was beautiful, now I believe it! π
Fantastic!!! The detail is amazing. I’ve never seen it all from this PoV. I wanted to add another note with "my house" on it but decided yours are enough! It would be North Shore, just below Mt Seymour.
beautiful looking city ! wonderful clear photo ..

wow!!
what a fantastic view! π
Cool. What a great view! Nice day, too. It all looks so clean from the air.
One of my favorite cities–and I’m not a city person. But your shot captures why this town is so special–sea and mountains mix with sea port vitality. Great shot. I was thinking it had to be high summer to get those blue skies….
Neat!
I see my home too…. like everybody else in Vancouver! π
Awesome image!
Stunning capture!!
What a shot
New for me too!

I think the idea is that these cars will fit better with the "silver and blue" unpainted stainless steel cars. The Canada word mark seems to get bigger with every iteration
They are obviously much more interested in attracting foreign tourists, rather than carrying people like you and me! Here, in Alberta, Via has the Snow Train using their panorama cars, which seems a bit of a waste as the train runs mostly in the dark! The word Canada, and the flag, feature prominently on these cars as well.

I saw those parked in Pacific Central Station when they were introduced. I would have thought they would have made better sense on one of the scenic routes such as the Fraser Valley. Like 1750 these are also ex BCOL
Looks like a Volkswagen New Beetle mated with a CtroΓ«n C3, and the offspring is still young.
A very big toy, a very small car! Now we just need a giant boy to push this car around on the bed!
About 5 years ago, there was a dealer for these in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They didn’t sell many, but the city may have taken one or two. I think another company has taken over this project since then. The body was all plastic, like recycled pop bottles. Now I have to read your article.
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Electric Cars, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
Some are for sale here. Here’s a pickup in California.

Really poor styling, like something from 40 years ago.
