  8. mujaku says:

You have some rather quirky assumptions about Zen my friend. There has been conflicts going on among Zen teachers since at least the T’ang Dynasty. Today is? no different.

  9. Aaron Wilson says:

I find it hard to believe that one Zen Master would be of afraid of or have any animosity towards another Zen Master. That kinda goes against the path to Enlightenment, no? Furthermore, trying to push one teacher while demeaning another is? proof you haven’t freed yourself from the tyranny of your mind. Such things are our more base reactions to the world around us. “REAL” Is just a label. The truth is out there, and we all have the ability to find it, regardless of our respective teachers.

“The? Way home or face the Fire”, read the Book, much better answer!

  13. mujaku says:

In the Ratnakuta Sutra it says: “The past is gone, the future is not yet, and the present does not abide”. Past, future and present are discriminations which the deluded cling? to. There is only Mind (cittamatra).

  14. andreaminervini says:

There’s suffering inside all of us, covered up by many things: the idea that we are what we do, what we have; the consumption, (tv, musiic, magazines), etc. Despair, sadness, sorrow, they all tend to manifest but you run away. Buddha’s teaching is upon this, how to? heal and transform suffering. Life is painful, suffering is optional. By doing so, you will not only be more healthy, but will contribute to make yourself more happy and those around you as well. Many blessings to you.

I? find this man an inspiration, i’ve read some of his books and they are a window into another way of being. To arrive at this state of mind after all he has been through is a testament to the human spirit.

  16. Mindy Lawrence says:

The words are simply “Namo Avalokitesvarya” over and over again. It? is chanting the name. How lovely it is!

  17. kazuza9 says:

  19. Velton500 says:

@Velton500 Trying to ignore suffering will never succeed, as? he explains in his introduction. May I respectfully suggest that you read some of his writings? Or find more detailed explanations on YouTube?

  20. Velton500 says:

@shahilagh Understandingthe sufferingin? ourselves, in those around us and in the rest of he worlsd is an essential step in freeing ourselves from that suffering.

  21. 19Aries91 says:

    Because it’s? inherent in existence.

  22. shahilagh says:

see for this keyword (still the quality of this one is? better); “Reciting Avalokiteshvara’s Name”

  23. shahilagh says:
