A lift to my life,
I had a knee replacement with excellent results discounting the fact I now set off metal detectors. I limped before the surgery and didn’t walk exactly right afterwards. Eventually I figured out the surgery had left my leg a little shorter than it had been. My orthopedic doctor gave me an Adjust-a-Lift to try out. It worked well, I especially liked the layered construction that allowed me to easily adjust the amount of lift. I bought more of them and now have them in my dress shoes, work boots and tennis shoes. I even glued one in my sandal. I highly, and without reservation recommend them to anyone who needs a lift in their life.

Used twice & the layers separated,
I read the reviews & bought one. Have 1 leg 1/2″ shorter than the other. I placed this into my Dansko clog & by day 2, the layers started separating!! I can not recommend this product in light of this performance. Very dissapointing. The seller is not to be blamed-the mfg could use some perfecting of this product.

Old Technology – not great,
The foam rubber in these lifts causes your heel to move up and down in the shoe as you walk. This causes calluses and wears out socks. The leather top means that it cannot be cleaned and perspiration will soak in.
However, they are perfect with Birkenstock sandals, as the suede top layer matches the brown suede sandals. For other uses, a firmer heel lift that does not add spongy padding to shoes is preferrable.
Not recommended.
